Private Beaches

On Scrub Island discover a number of beaches for your enjoyment and pleasure. They include quiet North Beach, Pavilion Beach located just north of Marina Village and west of our swimming pools and Honeymoon Beach, for those seeking a more intimate environment. Learn more about our beaches.

Scuba Diving & Snorkeling

Dive BVI is a  full-service dive shop located in Marina Village that caters to the explorer in all of us! Daily group snorkel tours, Anegada snorkel trips, one and two tank dive trips as well as private dive, snorkel and sightseeing charters are also available. Take advantage of the shallows surrounding Scrub Island that serve as a perfect playground for snorkeling. Many nearby coves, bays, reefs and islets offer magnificent views of rare sea life, such as yellow frogfish and a golden-faced coney, for snorkelers and divers. In addition, numerous excursions to neighboring islands are planned on a weekly basis. The Sea Cat, a 36-foot dive boat, is fully equipped, including plenty of shade and a freshwater shower to make your adventure more enjoyable. Whether a novice or an advanced diver, you can get your feet wet with an assortment of supervised instructional courses as well. Fishing & Sailing

Blessed with fair weather and constant gentle winds, Scrub Island provides easy access to explore more than 60 additional nearby islands. The island is situated in the undisputed sailing capital of the world.

The centrally-located marina lies on the western shore of Scrub Island, and provides a perfect departure point to the world-famous North Drop, a “honey spot” for the most plentiful marlin fishing in the Caribbean. Fishing charters allow guests to test the waters for tuna and world-record blue marlin.

Chartered Excursions

Fishing
Perhaps the greatest deep-sea fishing adventure of all is just off Scrub Island’s shores. We have the closest marina to the North Drop, the hot spot for world-record Blue Marlin. Everything you need is here – the boat, the guide and the equipment. Half-day and full-day excursions are available. You may also try fly fishing or inshore fishing for a more tame experience. Should you have landed a big one, one of our chefs can prepare your catch to suit your taste.

Sailing
Your modern day discovery would not be complete without an excursion on the beautiful waters of the sailing capital of the world. A variety of craft are available for group or private charter from our marina. Your personal host will arrange it all for you. Fulfill your fantasy of anchoring off one of the many pristine, uninhabited white sand islands for a day of indulgent pleasure.

Catamarans
A beautiful catamaran, gently-rolling waves and nature’s spectacle of color – the perfect end to a perfect day on your own private island. Enjoy a glass of fine champagne, as the enticing neighboring islands rise majestically out of the sea and, perhaps, even a sea turtle if you’re lucky.

Historical Tour
A short yacht excursion to the neighboring island of Tortola is a step back in time. Visit the first Dutch settlements, explore the famous Bomba Shack, and make your way to the top of the mountain overlooking Cane Garden Bay. You’ll agree that this is a truly unforgettable experience.
