Love is in the air! Caravela’s Valentine’s Day Menu

Looking for something special to do for Valentine’s Day in the BVI this year? Scrub Island’s restaurant, Caravela, is celebrating Valentine’s Day in the most deliciously romantic way ever. With panoramic views over the Caribbean Sea, Caravela’s fine cuisine paired with fresh local and imported ingredients offers a romantic and intimate meal for you and your love.

What better way to show someone you love them, than with a multi-course decadent dinner finished with dessert as sweet as your love for one another. 

To begin, guests can enjoy two delicious starters: Cream of Portobello Mushroom Soup with Truffle Oil & Minced Chive, and house-made rolls with creamy piped butter.

Guests will then have their pick of either Almond Crusted Brie with spiced-orange chutney or a Harvest Salad loaded with Gala apples, sundried cranberries, roasted walnuts, gorgonzola cheese, baby greens, carrots and a Honey-Lemon Vinaigrette.

As for the entrée, charm your valentine by choosing from three classic and romantic favorites.

• Ahi Tuna: Black and pink peppercorn encrusted ahi tuna, grilled lemon with teriyaki plum sauce, over wild rice and walnut pilaf with seasonal vegetables.
• Chicken Ballontine: Stuffed chicken breast with Gruyere cheese, spinach & wild mushrooms, topped with sundried tomato and pesto cream, served with herb roasted red bliss potatoes and seasonal vegetables.
• Prime New York Steak: Prime-aged beef grilled with fresh tarragon hollandaise served with butter whipped mashed potatoes and haricot verts.

Don’t think we forgot dessert! Treat your sweet as you dive into a dessert duo you’re guaranteed to fall in love with. Enjoy Chocolate Grenache and a Strawberry & Pistachio Mousse to round out a blissful and perfect evening.  

Caravela’s Valentine’s Menu is $79 per person, plus 20% service charge.
