Scrub Island Resort Heats Up Valentine’s Day with “Sexy” Menus at Fine-Dining Restaurant, Caravela, and Luxury Spa, Ixora
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS – Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, the newest luxury resort development in the British Virgin Islands in more than 15 years, is heating up Valentine’s Day with the introduction of special menus featuring popular aphrodisiacs – foods and drinks historically believed to increase sexual desire. The “sexy” new menus are available at the resort’s fine-dining restaurant, Caravela, complemented with decadent signature treatments in the ultra-luxe Ixora Spa.
At Caravela, the mouthwatering experience begins with a glass of champagne, followed by a six-course pre-fixe meal, artfully crafted by renowned Executive Chef Davide Pugliese, including wine, chocolate, strawberries, and honey, as well as items lesser known for their seductive powers, such as coriander, carrots, fennel and asparagus. Signature recipes including roast duck breast, Berkshire pork belly and aniseed poached pear can be enjoyed as part of this decadent dining experience for $200 per couple. The menu is available exclusively on Valentine’s Day.
Voted Top 10 Spas in the Caribbean by Caribbean Travel+Life, Ixora Spa is also getting in on the fun by offering some extra special services throughout the month of February. A Warm Honey Drizzle Sugar Scrub, Cherries and Chocolate Milk Bath, and Dark Chocolate Facial Mask have all been added to February’s spa menu. A full couple’s package may also be scheduled featuring delicious Cherry Coco Coffee Wraps, Eterno Massages and Chakra Balance Hot Stone Back Treatments.
While on island, couples may want to slip away to the private honeymoon beach, accessible only by Scrub kayak, charter a sailing excursion on the beautiful waters of the sailing capital of the world, or take a thrilling helicopter tour for spectacular aerial views of the British and US Virgin Islands.
