Thursdays Call for Karaoke at Tierra! Tierra!

When Christian, our Bar Manager, pitched the idea of Karaoke nights every Thursday at Tierra! Tierra! we thought it was a stroke of genius. Let’s do it!

So, every Thursday night, starting at 7 p.m., kickback and relax at Scrub Island Resort’s famous open-air restaurant & bar with awesome views of the Caribbean, while enjoying a special evening of karaoke specially created for our guests and visitors.

Karaoke at Tierra TierraTo celebrate, I’ve put together my “” as a helpful reference, in case you want to get a little practice in before your grand debut in the BVI. There’s no doubt one of these classics is calling your name! And all these songs I’ve picked are guaranteed to get others singing along with you. Best of all… karaoke on vacation means you most likely will never have to see these people ever again. So, go ahead and belt out the high notes!

  • “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips
  • “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard
  • “Wonderwall” by Oasis

  • “Dancing In The Dark” by Bruce Springsteen

  • “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond

These songs I picked are ones that are guaranteed to have the most crowd interactions. They can be performed solo or with a group, whichever you prefer. Whether you’re a singer or a watcher (aka “the laughter”) you’re guaranteed to have a great time watching guests grip the microphone and do their best impressions. Worst case, there’s a scenic sunset and plenty of ice-cold cocktails to keep you company!

Superstar Sour Sparkler – Stoli with pineapple-lemon syrup, and a pour of prosecco for bubbles
A Cappella Caipiroska – Stoli original with passionfruit & apple syrup, and a fresh squeezed lime
Mezzo Mule – Stoli razberi & chambord jam liqueur, muddled lemon wedges with a spritzer of ginger beer

And should your performance warrant an encore, go for the Stoli Inferno, that features chili-infused Stoli with Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. How’s that for inspiration?
