Due to damages from Hurricane Irma, our resort is currently closed for assessments and repairs. Please check back for updates.
Naturally, being located in the sailing capital of the world means Scrub Island’s own marina is a jewel in the sparkling Caribbean Sea, illuminated by the sun, the moon and the stars above… and glittery lights below. Scrub Island Marina offers 55 deep-water slips for short- or long-term docking, including five specifically for larger mega-yachts up to 160 feet in length.
Our marina is also the departure point for most of the water-oriented activities at Scrub Island. From here, guests can explore the breathtaking sea life surrounding the island through Dive BVI with daily group or private snorkel tours, dive trips, eco-explorer tours, and sightseeing charters offering the ultimate island hopping adventure. Scrub Island Marina is the closest to the North Drop, the hot spot for world-record billfish. Book full- or half-day fishing excursions complete with boat, guide and equipment. For those who are seeking education, enrichment and teambuilding, Offshore Sailing School provides a robust list of offerings designed to improve the nautical skills of novice and expert sailors alike.
(As our dining outlets are being restored following Hurricane Irma, please check our Dining page for the most updated information.)
Centrally located at the heart of the resort, the Scrub Island Marina is in the midst of all the restaurants and shops in Marina Village—featuring Caravela Restaurant & Bar, Tierra! Tierra!, Antilia Boutique, the Fitness Center, Dive BVI, Offshore Sailing School, Gourmet Market & Café and our Marina Showers—and provides a scenic vista from almost anywhere around the resort.
Important pre-arrival notice regarding customs: Marina guests from outside the BVI must clear customs at any of the BVI Ports in order to dock at Scrub Island. The owner or captain must provide proof of registration that displays the “BVI Her Majesty’s Customs” logo, vessel information and the port of entry.
